With 73 hooks pre-registered, the day started off quickly with an additional 28 added for a total of 101. The day was extremely hot and everyone was very anxious to keep the day going as we also knew there was the potential for rain.
We had a little wiring issue with the yellow sled but we kept the green one going in the mean time and sure enough, the rain came as we had 11 hooks left. The $3,000 purse was paid out to the top 3 in each class and there were some VERY happy winners.
A few of our pullers donated their winnings to the Diemel family who tragically lost two brothers recently. It just says a lot about the people involved in pulling!
